London, Thursday 4 August 2022 – Leading regulatory technology firm, Kaizen Reporting has won ‘Regulatory Reporting System of the Year’ at the Risk Technology Awards 2022 for its ReportShield™ Accuracy Testing service. This is the fourth time that Kaizen has won a Risk award for its regulatory reporting services.

The 2022 Risk Technology Awards were divided into 25 categories and received 120 entries, which were narrowed down to a shortlist of 80 firms. A panel of eight industry experts and Risk.net editorial staff reviewed the shortlisted entries. The judges individually scored and commented on the shortlisted entrants, before meeting to review the scores and, after discussions, made a final decision on the 24 winners.

Antony Chambers, Publisher, Risk.net, commented:

“This year’s Risk Technology Awards were as competitive as ever with both the number of firms entering and the quality of the services they provide the market. Kaizen Reporting stood out for its Accuracy Testing service which enables firms to submit high quality and accurate data to the regulators.”

Dario Crispini, CEO of Kaizen, commented:

“Global regulators are giving the financial services industry a clear and consistent message that they expect the trade and transaction data they receive to be of the highest quality. Kaizen’s Accuracy Testing service helps firms deliver just that and we are honoured that the service has been recognised as the ‘Regulatory Reporting System of the Year’ at the Risk Technology Awards for 2022.”

Kaizen’s Accuracy Testing is part of the company’s ReportShield™ suite of quality assurance services, which help financial firms meet their reporting obligations and effectively manage their regulatory risks. The service is tailored for global trade and transaction reporting regimes including MiFIR, EMIR, CFTC, SEC, SFTR, MAS, ASIC, HKMA, and FinfraG. Accuracy Testing is unique in being able to fully assess the quality of the data that firms report to the regulator.
