Jonathan Lee on the challenges of SEC’s Rule 10c-1a and the OFR Final Rule

At this year’s Securities Finance Symposium (SFT) held in Boston, Kaizen’s Money Markets Reporting Director Jonathan Lee took part in a panel discussing the challenges that firms face with the introduction of the SEC Rule10c-1a and the Office of Financial Research’s (OFR) final rule which was adopted on 6 May.

“Firms have got a very short space of time to implement what’s going to be highly scrutinised reporting. This won’t just be in the US, but on a global basis. It’s very much front and centre of systemic risk,” said Jonathan.
