MiFID II implementation roundtable

For those tracking MiFID implementation activities, the FCA have posted their minutes from the October MiFID II Implementation Roundtable with trade associations.

The minutes largely cover communication plans including the provision of webinars and other supporting materials to help with the implementation and interpretive challenges that exist.  A couple of areas they covered of interest is the use of endorsed industry guidance which the FCA wants to move away from. However they did say they would be happy to review material produced by the trade associations which is encouraging.  They also cover feedback on its recent MiFID II conference.  See our earlier blog.
