In the news: Jonathan Lee on the revised SFTR validation rules – 11 April
The revised UK SFTR validation rules went live today, 11 April 2022. Kaizen’s Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist, Jonathan Lee, spoke to Global Investor Group.
“A large proportion of the issues that we identify with SFTR reports are areas in which the reports pass the validation rules, but the content of those fields is conclusively proven to be incorrect.
“Even if it’s a sample of reports, they need to make sure they are credible, consistent, and not only meet the validation rules, but can be conclusively proven to be accurate,” he said.
