Kaizen wins ‘Best New Regulatory Reporting Product’ at the FOW International Awards

FOW Awards Best Regulatory Reporting Product 2018

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

5 December 2018, London: Leading regulatory technology firm Kaizen Reporting today announced that its quality assurance service, ReportShield™, has been named ‘Best New Regulatory Reporting Product’ by the FOW International Awards. Seen as highly prestigious in the derivatives world, the awards recognise the best innovations in the market and were announced at a ceremony in London last night.

Kaizen’s ReportShield™ is a set of services that help financial firms meet their reporting obligations and effectively manage their reporting risks. The service includes Kaizen’s award-winning accuracy testing which is unique in its ability to test all reported data, providing full visibility of reporting quality.

Luke Jeffs, managing editor of Global Investor Group who run the awards, said: “Transaction reporting under MiFID II was the main component of what was the largest regulatory hurdle facing European financial services firms in a generation. Kaizen’s ReportShield helped many banks, asset managers, brokers and hedge funds overcome that vast regulatory undertaking, leaving Kaizen set for a period of rapid growth in 2019.”

Dario Crispini, CEO of Kaizen Reporting, commented on the announcement: “I’m proud of the whole Kaizen team for its combined endeavours in getting us to this point. To have such a reputable organisation recognise the value we bring clients is very rewarding.”

He added: “We are seeing consistent growth and development, with multiple new client wins and significant staff hires; to complement these achievements with this award is a great bonus.”

In recent months Kaizen has consolidated its position at the forefront of reporting expertise with the hiring of former regulator and EMIR and MiFIR expert David Nowell who leads its new regulatory reporting training service.  It has also hired Jonathan Lee, who was previously chair of the ICMA Taskforce on SFTR to develop its assurance services for the upcoming regulation.  The company has also expanded its MiFIR offering to include APA trade reporting led by ex APA COO, Chris Machin.  The FOW award comes after Kaizen was selected to attend the exclusive FIA Innovators Pavilion in October and was included in the RegTech 100, an exclusive directory of the world’s leading RegTech companies, in November.
