Kaizen Reporting Wins Singapore Regtech Award for Data Assurance Solution

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

14 November 2019, London – Kaizen Reporting is delighted to announce it has won the Regtech Award for Data Assurance in the 2nd Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2019 at a ceremony in Singapore.

Following a rigorous selection process involving a judging panel of subject-matter experts and the Regulation Asia editorial team, Kaizen Reporting emerged as the category winner for its ReportShield quality assurance solution, a set of services developed to solve the problem of poor quality regulatory reporting. The solution is unique in its all-encompassing testing approach which fully assesses the quality of data that firms have reported to the regulator.

One judge called the service “one-of-a-kind”. Multiple users have attested to its effectiveness in helping to ensure higher quality data in regulatory reports. According to one user, regulators have also provided “extremely positive” feedback on the data assurance processes applied.

Ian Rennie, Managing Director of Kaizen Reporting (pictured) said, “We are honoured that Kaizen has been recognised in the Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence. Complete and accurate regulatory reporting is expected by regulators across the region and globally and we are delighted that our automated testing services are helping clients meet regulatory expectations and providing them with peace of mind in their reporting quality.”

Brad Maclean, Co-founder and Executive Chairman, Regulation Asia said: “Kaizen Reporting has developed a unique solution to address a wide range of issues around regulatory reporting. This award recognises the firm’s continued success in developing superior technology and helping firms navigate challenging data environments and ever-changing regulatory requirements.”

Earlier this year Kaizen Reporting was also awarded Best Reporting Platform or Service for the Sell side at the Sell-side Technology Awards in London and Best Technology Provider for Regulatory Compliance by the Fintech and RegTech Global Awards. In 2017, Kaizen’s testing was recognised by the UK government with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for innovation, one of the UK’s highest business accolades.
