Alan McIntyre speaks to Risk.net on the proposed updates to CFTC trade reporting
The introduction of 49 extra trade reporting fields to a proposed update by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission is being questioned by specialists. Kaizen’s North America Reporting Director spoke to Risk.net on the matter.
“The update comes alongside an extension of the Unique Product Identifier (UPI) to include commodities, which was expected at some point.
“It’s telling that so many changes are being made at this stage after all the years the CFTC has spent on the original rewrite.”
